A year in snowy Wisconsin!

Where to start with the many reasons that I love Wisconsin? Firstly, I love the friendly people, who are so proud of their state. Wisconsin is known for their beer, brats, cheese and sport. While their neigh-bouring states make fun of them for these things, 'Wisconsinites' are so proud of them, which is a terrific trait. Their pride in their state is contagious! In the 3 months I have been here, I have developed a deep love and pride for all things Wisconsin.

Secondly, I love the scenery, from the snow-covered forests complete with squirel and deer and lakes, to the amazing architecture. There is nothing I love to do more than spend my weekends exploring the amazing Capitol or Monona terrace.

I love the snow of Wisconsin, as well. Being Australian, its not everyday that you are able to make snowmen. Of course, I am excited for summer by the lake, but I came to the US for new experiences and the snow has provided plenty!
